• The Assembly Room is the largest of the four sitting rooms and was once a gathering place for Hearst’s guests.
• The Refectory is the dining hall where most of the meals were served.
• The Morning Room is an east-facing sitting room filled with Spanish antiques and Flemish tapestries.
• The Billiard Room is decorated with a sporting theme on the ceiling, tile panels, and a tapestry.
• The Theater is the largest room in Casa Grande and often entertained Hollywood’s finest with the newest releases.

The Experience Tour also takes you through Casa del Sol. This 18-room guesthouse faces the stunning Pacific Coastline. Your tour guide will walk you through a sitting room, four bedrooms, and four bathrooms of Casa del Sol.

You will also explore the Esplanade and Gardens along with the Neptune and Roman Pools.  This portion of the tour illustrates one of the most beautiful sections of the grounds, featuring marble sculptures and seasonal flowers.

Also included in this tour is a showing of the National Geographic Theater’s Hearst Castle: Building the Dream. This 40-minute film dramatically chronicles the story of the creation of the castle with vintage footage and breathtaking aerial views of the estate and surrounding Pacific coastline.
The Experience Tour will last approximately one hour and 45 minutes including the bus ride to and from the Castle.
